Week 1 Guru NFL picks

To those of you who have been waiting all summer for a brand new set of winning picks, wait no more, the Scottrodamus experience has returned. I return refreshed and dead set on redemption.

As I did last year, I'll be sticking with MGM Mirage odds, enough of the preamble, onto the locks of the week:

New England -10
Last time these 2 teams met for their opener it was the Pats putting up 52 on the Bills.  One of Pats best players in county lockup but ain't gonna matter, Bills still in preseason mode.

Indianapolis -9.5
Raiders just a mess right now.  They carried 4 qbs and 2 punters through initial 53 man cut.  They have since changed that but the ugliness still remains.

Over 54 - Atl v NO
This going to be a barnburner.  Drew Brees has Payton back and the dirty Birds will have work to do to keep pace.  Don't let the Rob Ryan hiring fool you that Saints are within a sniff of elite defense. 

The Supa Bowl

I would love to see the Ravens win today but that is going to be a tough task against this NFC West foe. A Ravens win is going to depend on whether Flacco or Fluke-o shows up today. Ultimately this game should result in a field goal margin.

Well my Hawks let me down, kinda. More like Gus Bradley and his worthless play calling did with 25 seconds left. Next year no more Gus and an aggressive play caller, look out NFL. Look out! Pete is looking for at least two pass rushers to join the defense. I love Pete not saying he needs one but two. On to the picks!!

Sunday Divisional Games

Last week during the Wildcard Weekend the Ginger overthrew AJ Green with the chance to secure my pick and a Bengals victory and Leslie Frazier had the audacity not to tell me he was sitting Christian Ponder. I was within reach of perfection, yesterday however was just plain horrible. I used the spirit of Ray Lewis to ride to victory last week but quickly forgot about it this week and forgot that Manning can't win in freezing temps during the playoffs.  Anyhow, back to .500 today.

Seahawks +3

Patriots -9.5 The Gronk returns and the homeboys roll easily at home.  As much I wanted to see Brady vs Manning another Patriots vs Ravens matchup should be equally entertaining.

Saturday Division Games

Simply forgot to post in time.  Gotta make this quick.
